We stayed here during the storm in December. Pretty mixed experience really. Lunch was ok but cockle popcorn mainly consisted of batter so for £10 wasn’t worth it. Evening meal was very nice though with some great presentation and flavours with the dishes. Hotel side was a let down. We arrived about 2.30 and were surprised the heating wasn’t on in the room. Asked for it to be switched on while we ate lunch and they said it wasn’t normally switched on until 6pm. They huffed a bit but said they had turned it on. Went back to the room after lunch and still no heating on. Went down and spoke to the owner who assured me that it was an old building and would take a while. Two hours later still no heating. Basically we had no heating during the entire stay and no apology from the owner about this. I asked for an electric heater and was told they couldn’t provide one due to health & safety! I get that heating costs money but you kind of expect this to be provided in December when you’re paying £140 for the privilege of staying there. Maybe install thermostatic valves if you’re worried about heating the whole building unnecessarily. Thankfully we were only staying the one night as I hadn’t packed my thermals. Very strange way to operate a hospitality business.

We booked this for lunch for our wedding anniversary and so glad we did. We had an amazing array of dishes all absolutely delicious and good wine to accompany it. Our dogs were also made very welcome and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. Having shared 5 savoury dishes and two desserts we left with full bellies! We will definitely be returning soon and even though we live less than an hour away are tempted by the rooms so we can immerse ourselves fully in all this lovely area has to offer….and of course the amazing food and wine at Inn at the Sticks!

Wonderful experience, some of the best food we have tasted 😋, the concept of small plates allowed you to taste a large part of the menu. Everything we had was the very best of fine dining. We stayed the night, lovely room with sensible check in/out times that allowed you to get the full experience, breakfast was awesome 👌 too.

We had a wonderful experience at the "Sticks". Great food and friendly service in a restaurant/bar full of character and atmosphere. It's really deserving of the Welsh local restaurant of the year award. We've already booked our next visit!

As a self-proclaimed gastronome this little gem of a restaurant had been on my radar for a while, and boy did it more than deliver on everything you want from a dining experience.. Every member of staff was on point, none moreso than lovely Lauren, who took our phone booking and once we arrived got our exquisite lunch up and running on a high. We stayed for so long, through a shift change that was seamless and the service was impeccable, everyone attentive, accommodating and effortlessly charming. Then there’s the ‘food’ itself, which seems like such a lame word for true culinary delights. Chef’s please take a bow. Every single dish was nothing short of exceptional, from the divine cockle popcorn that you could eat by the bucketload, to the fabulous and fresh heritage tomato salad, the tantalising tuna sashimi and the sensational sticky pork and bok choy, to name just a few of the many highlights, were all a feast for the senses. And as for the desserts, it’s fair to say they were off the charts, especially the luscious lavender panna cotta, an absolute triumph and the perfect way to end an unforgettable all round experience. Having been fortunate enough to visit some of the best restaurants both in the UK and overseas, this is up there with the very best. It wouldn’t be a surprise if at some point their current richly deserved accolades reach Michelin starred level. Put simply Inn At The Sticks is just WOW. Welcoming, Outstanding, and Wonderful. Literally cannot wait to return.

Stopped in for an impromptu late lunch after a long coastal walk. Every thing about our visit was excellent from the warm welcome to the service, lovely wine and the food was absolutely perfect. Really good concept executed exceptionally well. The only shame is that we are not local to be coming back any time soon!

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have found this absolute gem on our way home from holidaying in Pembrokeshire and even more fortunate that the people who'd booked a table were a no show so we got to fully indulge in the sublime food....oh my it was DELICIOUS. We appreciate good quality and locally sourced food and this was no doubt the best we have savoured in a long time. Everything was first class, the staff reflected the passionate nature in the food, wine and general relaxed ambience. Thank you for such an unforgettable culinary experience.

I spent two nights there this weekend. Llansteffan is a fabulous location, with stunning beach and estuary. Travelling alone it was so nice to feel really comfortable there and welcome. I ate at the inn both nights and as someone with multiple allergies it was fantastic to have such excellent food and variety that also worked for me. A refreshing change and one that I really appreciated! Fantastic place to relax in - and to return to for future breaks!

Had a meal here after coming off Llansteffan beach, initially disappointed as many of their small plates menu had run out but although what we selected were far from our first choice, the quality of the cooking was excellent and all the food turned out very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice Ibiza-style chill out ‘garden’ too. Beware parking can be tricky!
